Delete your DreamFundSL account
You can delete your account and its data yourself, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete in the app
- Sign in to DreamFundSL (website, installed app or Android app).
- Open your Profile (tap your picture or name).
- Choose Delete account, read what will be deleted, enter your password and type DELETE.
You will be signed out straight away and we email you a confirmation.
Can’t sign in?
If you have lost your password or your free trial has ended, request deletion here. We send a one-time link to the email address registered on the account. Open it to review what will be deleted and confirm.
Nothing is deleted until you open the link and confirm. The link works once and expires after 1 hour.
What is deleted
What happens depends on your role, and the app shows you exactly what before you confirm.
- If you are the only administrator of your family workspace, the whole workspace is deleted: every member’s login and profile, and all transactions, bank accounts, budgets, bills, savings goals, debts, loans, reminders and notifications.
- If you are another member (or one of several administrators), your login, name, email, phone number, picture, sessions, two-step verification and notification settings are deleted. Shared family records stay with the family, because the other members still need their history. Records you created or owned are handed to an administrator and your name is removed from them.
Data is removed from our live database immediately.
What is kept, and for how long
- Billing records (plan, amount, payment reference) are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. They contain no name, email or financial-app data.
- Security logs are kept so we can protect the service, with names and email addresses removed.
- Backups. Daily backups are replaced after 30 days. A monthly archive backup is kept longer. Backups are never restored into the live service for an account that has been deleted.
